Vahid Rashidi

Vice President, Extended Producer Responsibility

Vahid Rashidi joined ARMA in 2026 as Vice President, Extended Producer Responsibility, bringing over a decade of experience in leadership, project management, and stakeholder engagement within the public sector. He has a distinguished background in leading large-scale, complex initiatives and is recognized for his ability to drive transformative change through strategic planning and collaborative execution.

Prior to joining ARMA, Vahid, a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) and Project Management Professional (PMP), served as a Program Director at the City of Edmonton, where he led city-wide waste management programs. Notably, he oversaw the planning and implementation of the Apartment and Condo Waste Collection Program, and the Cart Rollout Demonstration Phase.

Vahid’s leadership philosophy is rooted in fostering inclusive, high-performance environments where open dialogue and mutual respect empower multidisciplinary teams to reach their full potential.

Vahid is an avid woodworker who enjoys the creative process of crafting custom furniture and decorative pieces. He is fluent in English, Persian, and Arabic and values the opportunity to contribute to the success and sustainability of the communities he serves.
