Alberta Recycling Management Authority (ARMA) is pleased to announce the following changes to our Senior Management team, Lee Heidecker to the position of Chief Financial Officer, and Che-Wei Chung to the position of Chief Operations Officer.
Since joining ARMA in 2011, Heidecker has served as the Director of Finance. She has been instrumental in the financial planning and fiscal responsibility of the organization, overseeing numerous projects including the addition of the Used Oil Program, and the planning and integration of ARMA Connect. In addition to her years of experience, she holds the designations of BComm, CPA and CMA.
“We are extremely pleased to be able to recognize Heidecker for her experience and her steadfast commitment to this organization.” Ed Gugenheimer, CEO.
Chung joined the organization this year as the Director of Operations, after spending years serving municipalities in Alberta and Saskatchewan. He has shown the ability to oversee and critically examine our stewardship programs while bringing our program administration and operations teams together, continuing to foster relationships with our recycling partners. Chung replaces the previous COO, Brad Schultz, who is retiring this month.
“ARMA firmly believes in recognizing and celebrating the efforts of our hard-working team. These promotions will help position ARMA for success and growth as an organization, allowing us to better serve Albertans, as we live our vision of inspiring a future without waste.”
