Tire Recycling Alberta Registrar of Imported Vehicles

Tires brought into Alberta on vehicles imported from the U.S. will eventually make their way into Alberta’s recycling program when they reach end-of-life. ARMA has partnered with Canadian Tire Stores and independent inspection stations, through the RIV Service Agreement, to enable the collection of environmental fees on imported vehicles at the point of the Registrar of Imported Vehicles (RIV) inspection.
