Community development

Tire recycling is good for the environment, but it also benefits Albertans directly. Alberta Recycling’s Municipal Grant Program provides funding to communities to help them incorporate recycled tire products into community enhancement projects or upgrade scrap tire collection areas at landfills, transfer stations or recycling depots.
