Taking your old electronics out of the picture. Alberta’s electronics recycling program is helping protect our environment by keeping old TVs and computers out of our landfills, and away from the e-waste stream flowing into developing countries. There are over 360 collections sites across the province where you can take your end-of-life electronics so they can be recycled in an effective, secure and environmentally safe manner.

Did you know?

From April 2015 - March 2016, Albertans recycled the equivalent of 6.8 million car tires.
Since October 2004, 7.8 million units of computer equipment and televisions have been recycled in Alberta.
Over $12 million has been reinvested in Alberta communities through Alberta Recycling's Municipal Grant Program since 2000.
Since 2008, Albertans have recycled 17.8 million litres of paint and 3.2 million spray paint cans.
Albertans have recycled the equivalent of 100 million car tires since the start of the province's tire recycling program in 1992!
There are 360 electronics collection sites where Albertans can drop off their end-of-life computer equipment and TVs for recycling.
