Alberta Recycling would like to clarify the acronym used for our electronics recycling program, Electronics Recycling Alberta (ERA). This program name and acronym is consistent with our other programs Tire Recycling Alberta (TRA) and Paint Recycling Alberta (PRA). The ERA acronym is also used by the Electronic Recycling Association, which we understand is engaged in the resale and reuse of electronics. Activities involving electronics resale and reuse are not part of the Alberta electronics recycling program.
